Berlin, 30 October 2017: allpago, the leading payment service provider in Latin America announced today that it has become a Signature Member of the Merchant Risk Council (MRC), the leading global trade association for e-commerce fraud and payments professionals.
This is a significant milestone for the allpago business, which has been an active member of the MRC community since 2013. The MRC and allpago have been working together to educate the community on payment acceptance in Latin America and best practices. Becoming a Signature member strengthens the relationship between the two and allows allpago to play a greater role sharing expertise and knowledge about Latin America.
Philipp Bock, Founder & CEO of allpago, comments: “We are delighted to upgrade our MRC membership to Signature and very proud to be part of this community. As allpago continues to grow, we look forward to continue supporting the MRC community with our experience in the region and to educating merchants, service providers and fraud professionals around the world.”
Úna Dillon, Managing Director of Europe, MRC, comments: “The MRC has watched allpago grow from strength to strength in its 4 years as a member of our Community. It was inevitable their membership level would progress to the next stage. We continue to enjoy the partnership with allpago and look forward to working together with Philipp and his colleagues to deliver an MRC Connects event in Berlin, in the new year. We wish allpago continued success for the future.”
In addition to expanding allpago’s payments operation into Argentina, being named amongst the top 10 late stage fintech startups in the world by Money 20/20 and winning the MRC Technology People’s Choice Award in Las Vegas in the last 12 months, allpago’s technology has been adopted by dozens of new customers and integrated into systems of valuable partners like HiperStream and Zuora.
Signature membership provides allpago with greater visibility and opportunities in the community such as chairing MRC committees, nominating people for advisory boards and increasing its number of attendees to the MRC events.
